Configuration

Aquarium offers various configuration options to customize the immersion experience for your server.

Language Settings

Control which languages are active in your server.

Enabling/Disabling Languages

1. Open your server in the dashboard
2. Go to the Channels tab
3. Find Language Settings
4. Toggle languages on/off
5. Click Save Changes

What happens to disabled languages?

When you disable a language:

• The channel is moved to a "Disabled Immersion" category
• Messages in that channel are no longer processed
• Users can still see the channel (unless you adjust permissions)

When you re-enable a language:

• The channel moves back to the main immersion category
• If the channel was deleted, it's automatically recreated

Channel Settings

Slowmode

Set a rate limit on messages per channel:

1. Go to Channels tab
2. Click the settings icon on a channel
3. Adjust the slowmode value (0-21600 seconds)

Channel Topics

Customize the channel topic/description:

1. Go to Channels tab
2. Click the settings icon on a channel
3. Edit the topic field

Moderation Settings

Log Channel

Send moderation actions to a specific channel:

Via Dashboard:

1. Go to Channels tab
2. Find Moderation Settings
3. Select a log channel from the dropdown
4. Click Save Changes

Via Command:

/mod setlogchannel #mod-logs

What gets logged?

• User bans and unbans
• Timeouts
• Warnings issued
• Warnings cleared
• All moderation actions include the moderator, target, reason, and timestamp

Users can configure their own preferences with /preferences:

Subscription Tiers

Different tiers offer different character limits:

Users get the higher of their personal limit or the server's limit.
